^^ i finally found out from where Shenzhen copied that building on the left...(always thought, i know this "curves")

the forms are "stolen" from the "Forums Les Halles" of Paris. see!:




it's not excactly a skyscraper twin, but i'm pretty sure the architect saw Paris' Forums Les Halles b4 he designed that tall Shenzhen bldg.

These are the kings of all "twin skyscrapers." They were both designed by the same architect, Minoru Yamasaki (same guy who built the World Trade Center in NYC).

For these twin towers, he just put one in Toledo and the other in Minneapolis. They both were built in 1981. The Disalle Government Center is 328 feet tall and ranks as Toledo's fourth tallest building. The one in Minneapolis probably ranks 20-something.
