True, but this change came pretty late in the design. I think it made a lot more sense to scrap the townhouses than to redesign the tower for a podium. Usually the rental portion has to be designed almost as a seperate building code-wise (think additional exit stairs).

Fun fact was this redesign also let the tower get taller by 4 or 5 floors too.

It’s weird how there are two walkways right beside each other. Also, that gate at the end of the walkway is overkill ffs
