From East to Midwest-the randomness of my uploading sequence-NJ,NY,MA,PA,NC,MI,WI,IL-

Unfortunately things have been a bit hectic in terms of organizing my photography. I have been ridiculously busy but, luckily I find some spare time to work on tid bits of urban photography. And though I usually have a cohesive thread on a particular city, this one is just the opposite. This is a collection of random cities I've visited within the last year. By no means does this cover the amount I've shot, how many cities I've visited, or what I would like to present to the fine members of ssp but, I would like to show something since its been a while since my last thread. Expect more in the upcoming months.

Enjoy

Newark,NJ

NY, NY

New Brunswick, NJ

Easton, PA

Bethlehem, PA

Boston, MA

Atlantic City, NJ

Camden, NJ

Wilmington, NC

...to the Midwest

Pittsburgh, PA

Milwaukee, WI

Chicago, IL

DETROIT, MI.......with some Highland Park

Incredible. This was just what I needed. The Detroit shots were especially good - I think that will be the next American city I get around to visiting (Palm Springs, SF, and Richmond, VA all will happen in the near-term, too).

Awesome. I love the coloration. What type of settings are you using for the "vintage" photo look?

I like the first part of the set best. NJ is always interesting.

The atmosphere of your shots is always interesting... I really liked those club shots of NYC.

I take it this is you?

I urge you to make Detroit your next visit. Its the most underrated city I've ever been to. Since the first time I've been there in 2007, I have made this city my private get away from the hustle bustle of the NYC area. Make sure you get your hands on a bike though.

Thanks man. There is no actual setting I use, just a combination of CS6 and Lightroom editing. I tend to really focus on the tone of a photo if that helps.
