full serves are scattered around Ontario, usually in older parts of small towns. There is one in the town I grew up in. Its usually 3-4 cents pricer than others in town.

Ontario is currently averaging at 111.57 and Quebec at 115.28. Thunder Bay is just pricier than the rest of the province.

Ottawa's & Gatineau's rates, though, look to be about the same. The Quebec government actually charges a lower gas tax rate in Gatineau, in order to reduce the number of Gatineau drivers buying gas across the border.

And the tax rebate actually goes down gradually as you get further from the border. So parts of Gatineau a bit further from the bridges are higher than those closer to Ottawa.

Gas prices in Calgary are continuing on a downward trajectory, and by tomorrow might be lower than a week ago when the carbon tax came into effect. Averaging about 109.7c/L at the moment.

$1.14 at quite a few Toronto stations this morning.

I was in rural Lanark County yesterday and I saw $1.10 at a full serve station. But that area from my experience has always been cheaper than Ottawa, Kingston and Toronto.

But now that they see higher prices in T-Bay they will likely raise the price here in a day or two to make it the highest in the province.
I was away from home for a few days. Got back and the price in Timmins is 123.9

Calgary gas prices continue their downward trend, two weeks after the carbon tax kicked in.

Price range today (Low -- Avg -- High) is 99.9c/L -- 106.3c/L -- 114.9c/L

Note: this is the same chart as above, but GasBuddy adjusts the range of values to fit the data for the period.

Heading for Vancouver in about an hour so will post the price variations on the TCH route. then the Yellowhead route back.

Gas prices have jumped almost 30 cents in Sault Ste. Marie overnight to 135.9.
Sault Michigan hasn't changed at all and is still 253.9.

Surrey average price went up a few cents to 138.9.

Anywhere else see a dramatic increase in gas prices because of the hurricane and the long weekend.

But probably not for long because of the situation in Texas?

In Vancouver where I go it's $139.9 now, considerably higher than in SJs. Years ago it was consistently a few cents cheaper here, but over time extra taxes were added, to make us "socially responsible" .
