The new buildings are Juinor Ranks (front), St. Joseph's Square (far right), Point North (barely visible behind Junior Ranks), Monaghan Square (crane), 2814 Isleville (left) and the cranes are for Monaghan Square II, and Bloomfield Place.

^^^ It is great to see all the cranes. Also it is good to hear that the MacDonald Bridge is open to pedestrians and bikes again.

Can anyone give an opinion on how the refurbished MacDonald Bridge looks? On the drive over from Dartmouth is there a more open view of downtown Halifax? Having all the large side support beams moved from above the deck to below must make a difference.

Unfortunately the anti-jumping bars on both cantilevered lanes make any view hard to see. Driving, the road deck does feel more open.

i walked it. its nice. the sidewalk feels wider, and the bridge is less bouncy when buses go by.

Agreed, Jono. It's pretty stunning coming around that corner of Emera traveling north on the boardwalk!

Had some crazy clouds come in the other night. Made for a great show from my balcony.

Pretty sure that's Joe Ramia's private balcony on top of Barrington Gate (the one with DeSerres in it).

If you have friends in the building you can use the adjacent rooftop patio... it just lacks certain amenities, like a hot tub.

STV's renderings turned out to be not entirely inaccurate?! We did get a red block in our skyline?!

Nice skyline picture posted by q12.

Fenwick tower appears to be almost completely clad on the harbour side (the blue protection sheets just have to be removed). The NS Power headquarters look good - such an improvement over what it looked like before.

The red side of the Dillon really stands out, as pointed out by Jonovision.
