I noticed that. I've only been able to count 36 in the elevation. They're either counting the mechanical penthouse or I missed one of the parking levels, which are kind of hard to count since they're sloped.

Really? Where did you hear that? That is great news!

It will be our newest U/C tallest.

And it will mean I get to move up two buildings into my under construction list next week. *hopefully!*

I noticed today at the Marriott site they were pouring concrete around some large steel beams that had been sunk into the ground along Congress, and they had a bunch more piled up on the east side of the block. I took a bunch of photos today.

Agreed. The builders would not pay the burden of process and cost for street clousre if they were not sure they were going to start soon. !!!!

The lot has been scraped. Fences are up and diggers working. Not sure if this is still demo, site prep or initial build but there is a lot of activity. Gonna be a really thin tower!

Finally, all defencies cleared and the permit has been approved and released as of Nov 14th. Permit # SP-2012-0077C.

"PERMIT IS HEREBY ISSUED FOR:

The construction of a 37 story mixed use building consisting of retail (4,268 sq. ft.), offices (40,684 sq. ft), multi-family (358 units), parking garage (7 levels) and other associated improvements. . ."

You can view the site development permit here for further: https://www.ci.austin.tx.us/devrevie...erRSN=10725295

So, any news on official ground-breaking / completion dates from Bowie Partners / Endeavor?

Elevations

I believe those are up now too:

Photos courtesy City of Austin (11/21/2012).

Are those what you are looking for?

If those sizes are not viewable, view attachments SPL-SP-2012-0077C_0~043 and SPL-SP-2012-0077C_0~044 at:
