Toronto is just turning into a beast! Very exciting to see. I still remember back in the 90s when UK Drum & Bass Artist Roni Size mentioned in an interview why he chose to film one of his videos there -- because to him Toronto looked futuristic & that was when there was mainly the cluster of the CBD dominating the view. He should see it now.

I thank the Gods every morning that I was born in a time of great music and didn`t have to get raised on that crap.

Agree. Music took a giant nose dive around 1992-93 and has never recovered. 95% of stuff after that is utter garbage. It boggles my mind how today's stars are famous. If I saw them busking on the street I'd pay them to be quiet.

You guys don't sound old at all .

This morning I asked Alexa to play music from the 1930's, I love the old soul sounds from back then when I have my morning coffee.. I'm sure people from that era would have said the same thing about music from the 50's,60's,70's and 80's as well. Tha being said Roni Size is awesome.

I imagine he means it's not quite an arm's length transaction.

I turned on the radio the other day and was surprised that new music was spliced with music from my youth. That didn't happen with my father's music when I was young. I'd like to think it's because today's music generally sucks over the demographics of radio listeners.

Just wanted to share this nice post UrbOttawa made regarding how the proposed Trinity Towers would affect Ottawa's skyline.

Yep, for the next 10 years or so while the Centre Block is renovated.

Personally I think it's nicer than the real House of Commons and I think they should stay there.

Once the House of Commons has moved back into a renovated Centre Block, the West Block will again serve as a parliamentary building, housing six committee rooms and offices for 52 MPs and their staff.
Apparently not much...
