I'd call that an improvement. A little less teal-y in colour. Interesting overall design. Great addition to a intensifying neighborhood. Would love to see these renders with Nuovo, Icon and the second student residential tower (the name escapes me) in the background.

Carling Station is the closest we've seen to a Toronto-like subway station micro-skyline. Too bad the "subway" station is a small outdoor platform served by a single track choo-choo train with a low capacity and terrible frequency.

Well, RIP Little Italy's affordability. They're bent on transforming this into a "downtown 2.0" in terms of density and skyline.

Personally, I'm a big fan of the updated renderings, particularly the prominent glass feature. Anyone know of expected timelines on this project?

That ship departed some years ago, no?

Looks good. A huge step above the average Crapridge and Roderick Lahey garbage that is spreading like the plague in Ottawa.

Also glad this wasn't designed by Rod down the road... I think the latest renderings are a huge improvement on the old proposed design / materiality. It seems to integrate itself with the other buildings a lot better.

I wonder what that spider web curtain-wall clock thing is though?

That may be confusing cause and effect here. Housing prices in Little Italy are definitely going up but is the argument that this building itself would contribute to an increase in property values or is it more reasonable to assume it would be an effect of rising property values?
