My Random Chicago

Hey gang, I just wanted to contribute a little more to this site. Hope you enjoy. I present to you some of Chicago.

SOURCE: All of these photos are mine.

Downtown Pics

Train

Wicker Park

View of Downtown from Jarvis Beach on the North side

Tall buildings like these litter Lake Shore drive going North of downtown for quite a distance. It's hard for me to focus on tennis sometimes because I can't stop staring.

Marine Drive: If you squint you can see a slice of downtown in the background.

Some quaint little houses on the South side.

Different views outside my apartment window, I live in Uptown which is on the North side.

FOOD!

I have TONS more, but I think this should do it for now. Thanks for viewing. And good luck to all those countries still in the World Cup. GO USA!!!!

^ That had to be taken tonight. The sky hasn't been this yellow all year...it was just incredible. Great set!

I had pasta at Portillos last week. It was good, but put me into a food coma afterword because it was so much food.

Yeah the last two shots outside my window were right after the storm last night. In 2006/2007 I took hundreds of photos on plenty of different days with breathtaking sunsets from my old apartment in Oak Park, but here in Uptown in 2009/2010, I've found the sunsets to be severely lacking..

And Portillo's is my second home!

Added some skyline photos at the beginning. Felt they help anchor the set.
