Cucina it is. I've been there a few times since Rusty kindly pointed it out. It's a bit of pain getting to via the plus 15 system, but it is worth it.

Glad you mentioned that. I was racking my brain trying to remember what was there before.

That whole area in Watermark could use some brightening up. It's always depressing walking through there.

Yeah, they need to work on that for sure.

There's a small P&S in Holt Renfrew isn't there?

Oh? I know they had some temporary stands from Fiasco and Jelly Modern at one point, but I haven't seen a P&S.

I went a couple of times but I can't even remember when. Their pop up twitter account hasn't been updated since 2012 but I must have gone after then.

They had a temporary P&S there a couple of years ago for sure. I didn't find the quality very good though. I'm glad that wasn't my first experience with P&S. I didn't feel like giving the temporary stand a second chance.

Huh, that makes sense.

It looks like another Mexican place is teaming up with Kicker's on 1st street SW. It's called Margarita's and seems to be similar to what was attempted last year with the shared space with Alejandro's. It looks like Kicker's is open M-F 11 am to 3 pm and Margarita's opens at 5 pm I think. Haven't gone in yet, but nice to see this kind of partnership back again.

Also, anyone know anything about the other places that were supposed to go on 1st, Cuba and Brix and Morsel? It looks like the twitter account for Brix and Morsel is active.

Brix and Morsel has been "opening soon" for well over a year now.

I had lunch at Delicious Thai today- in Kensington. Had only been there once before. Basil pork- delicious!

I get it's a chain, but I find it dumb to base off a street address that isn't there.

Local 510 = 510 17th Ave

State & Main = Macleod Trail location or Stephen and 5th street.

And it's an Alberta-based chain, I would have guessed American as they use State & Main as fairly common street names all over the place.

There is probably plenty of other examples, this one just irks me for some reason.

State and Main is run by Franworks. The same group that franchises Original Joe's.

Looks like Ric's Grill on 2nd Ave SW is no longer part of Ric's Grill franchise. They're still operating under the Ric's banner for the next couple of months, but will be rebranded as something else.

Bocce on 4th street appears to be open or just about ready to open. Saw a few people in there yesterday.

The coming soon signage has gone up for Cactus Club along Stephen Ave, where HMV used to be and across the street from where Hy's will be.
