Here are some interesting construction pics of The One. Checkout the construction offices put right over the sidewalk on Yonge Street. I wouldn't be surprised if they dress it up a bit or use it for marketing.

well to be fair if you live in a city run by nepotism and incompetence like the city of Edmonton is you probably don't have a really great grasp of how either system works

^Toronto isn't run very competently either.

Now some dude at UT is claiming The One is 80% sold.

If in fact The One is selling as rumours are being heard. Would they be willing to add? Could they get a height increase approved?

As awesome as that m8ght be it would probably cost way to much to have Foster and Partners change the design to make it fiesable. I love to be wrong though.

The height was reduced to it's present height because of shadows on the ketchup park/school, and the claim was made by the developer the height would not increase...

Great set of photos Coldrx! Love the perspectives you've got here, and definitely interesting to see the tallest tower in Edmonton transform it's form with the residential section.

I really dislike the Scotia complex reclad but I understand why it had to be done. Just dislike the change to blue as a hue....
