Here's a pic by Talisker at SSC showing the Capitol u/c to the right (with Atelier in the foreground and Symphony Place in the centre):

P.S. I don't know or care of steveve's sexual preference. In either case, he's jail bait.
^lol, what's good to wipe my monitor clean from coffee/muffin sputtery?

in Sacamano's defence, i think this was said in gest -a reference (only?) to steveve's youth.
in regards to the old 1BE, i really think it's time to turn the page on this one. if anyone is (distraught and) interested enuf, then they can start a new nostologic thread about the "gone but not forgotten projects". (a great final resting place for Sapphire too) -i, for one, absolutely loved the dead baziz tower (as was) but bringing up passed projects without pertinence to the current is unproductive and adds little to 'exchangeable value'.

and PEACE!!!

I really loved how 1BE balanced the skyline to the north and how it made balance to the rest of the skyline aside from the CBD...I also like how it kind of marked the "end" of the skyline to the north sorta like saying "this is were it ends!"... Cause right now from a distance it's hard to tell were the borders of downtown are... It also "in a way" extends the skyline as it shows there are really tall buildings away from the CBD...

*I think 1BE's design was just fine and it actually fit's in to the Yorkville skyline (aside from it's towering height ).. I wouldn't want something crazy like Absolute world rising so tall at Yonge-Bloor cause it would look messy and clash with the rest of the skyline...

GG is gonna have a REAL challenge when it comes to rivalling what Bazis did in terms of height for 1BE... Chances are we won't see anything near as tall as 1BE from GG

Let's "try" to get back on topic! ***if there IS something on topic to talk about
I assume "GG" are the new owners of the site ? Excuse my ignorance but what does GG stand for? and are there any indications what they are proposing for the site ?
