wait until he finds out that his degree from ryerson wont help him at all with the desk job he's gonna get at the local planning office

yeah he will learn about all kinds of stuff, just none of it will be practical to use at work in the planning field.

Ryerson only has the undergrad program until later this year when the graduate program is available. Therefore he should be an undergrad student.
