I'm pretty sure that photo actually dates back to the late '50s or early '60s, as only the first two of the '50s era Penn Center office buildings appear (to the west of City Hall). I was in Philly in 1977 and they had many more hi-rises around there at that time.

I'm not sure how far out to sea this is but you can see two skylines here with the downtown Miami / Brickell skyline on the left side and the Miami Beach skyline from the middle to the left.
The two taller towers right in the middle are the Blue & Green Diamond towers which are the tallest on Miami Beach @ 550 feet.

Steely beat me to the punch!

What is even more wild about this transition is that there is one 500' residential tower and two 700'+ office towers currently under construction all on the river at the confluence in the center of this image. This view will be even more transformed in 2 years.

Seriously, not a single change for about 19 years. Since 2006ish about 4 new highrises have gone up that can actually be seen.
Maybe thats why Pittsburgh feels like its stuck in the 80's.

Some great pics. I hope to see more international cities, particularly places like Dubai, Hong Kong, Tel Aviv, and Singapore.
