Tim Hortons Earth Day 5K Walk & Fun Run kicks off this weekend!
Saturday Apr 18 - Bayfront Park
Join us - on-site registration starts at 8:45am; the Walk kicks off at 10am, and your Walk destination is the Sunoco Earth Day Tree Planting Festival in Westdale's Churchill Park.
Free shuttles running from both parks for registrants. Participants may be eligible for draw for prize donated by Tim Hortons, an Earth Day Tshirt and free lunch at Tree Planting. Prize for 1st runner across the finish line, donated by Mountain Equipment Coop

Saturday Apr 18 - Churchill Park @ the Aviary (85 Oak Knoll)

Fun for all ages - this festival has something for everyone. Live birds of prey show, horse & wagon into Westdale Village, Eco Specials with Village Merchants, face painting, Tai Chi, Drum Circle, live musical entertainment, bird house building workshop, eco driving workshop, bike repair clinic, Aviary, exhibits, eco scavenger hunt, free draw for bike, free shuttles to Bayfront and Princess Point and more! 1,300 trees to plant and invasive plant removal brigades. Don't miss this action-packed, fun and educational festival. Kickoff at 11:30am. Goes til 3pm
