The Government of Canada disagrees with you. Keep in mind when they say "once fully established" and "will be" they just mean it is set to get larger. At 62.9 km2 it is already the largest in Canada.

The Study Area for Rouge National Urban Park extends from Lake Ontario in the south to the Oak Ridges Moraine in the north, extending all the way from Toronto to Uxbridge. Once fully established, Rouge National Urban Park will be 79.1 km2 in size, making it the largest urban park in North America.

Some nice fishing opportunities in the Rouge and its tributaries. Have caught many carp, small mouth bass, suckers and rainbow trout. The valley areas are a nice setting.

Bright Nights in Stanley Park is a fun annual family-friendly Christmas event in Vancouver.

Local firefighters put up altogether 3 million Christmas lights every year.

Our last visit was back in 2015 and the weather was very cold. Nothing a cup of warm Gluhwein couldn't fix.

There are also few buildings one can enter, one being where one can visit Santa.

One of the specialty features is a ride on the Christmas Train, which has a small fee but is worth it.

As a free event, Bright Nights is definitely worth the visit, although it is often busy and parking is hard to come by. Around 200 000 people visit the event every year and I can certainly see why, as it was a fun night out.

Landing during sunset in NEBC, Ft St John

Over the Kitkatsnaw River, the further highway is the Alaska Highway, the closer highway is the old Alaska Highway with its famous curved wooden bridge.

Those parks all look decidedly suburban.

Suburban development is (and always has been) considered part of the urban area of a city, which the two Calgary parks are fully surrounded by. I feel like you guys are being wantonly obstinate about this

A few of my quick and dirty mobile pics... despite a lengthy and pleasant fall, we have lurched screaming into winter. There's already more snow than we have room for, after just a week.
