Hope so, OKC is more than deserving of a few new towers.

As far as speculation on other new towers is concerned, our best hopes are for a convention center hotel as part of the new convention center that will be built near the end of the decade, and residential or mixed-use towers in a few ideal areas around downtown. There are a few developers that are under suspicion for planning to build residential high-rises at some point, one in particular is across the street from Devon Tower.

Although I would like to see the OKC skyline grow, don't get your hopes too high.

Congrats guys, aside from New York this is the tallest building currently U/C in the country.

I like OKC's skyline. Back in the post-war era I'm pretty sure it was the smallest city with two 400-footers.

It's looking like the financing is gone and the Spire won't rise, so this is one of my new "buildings to watch."

Pickard Chilton come up with some great towers. It's good to see them getting some major work.

A second tower crane base was set up today, and it looks like the concrete pour for this part of the core/foundation will begin this weekend!

Foundation pour is set to occur this weekend, depending on weather. It was 70 today and an unexpected blizzard seems to be coming in for Saturday. But if all goes according to plan, a 15-hour concrete pour will occur on Sunday. 26 million pounds of concrete, hauled in by 65 trucks from five different cement plants.

Rebar that has been set up over the last few weeks:

Eighth Avenue Place in Calgary probably gives you guys a bit of a preview of what the Devon Tower might look like in real life - another Pickard Chilton project, looks to be similar glazing at least in the renderings:

I prefer the Devon tower design.

Wow. What an impressive design. I really like it. It has such an interesting facade and excellent vertical lines. The crown has interest too with the triangular cut.

I don't mean to sound insulting (Really, I mean that) but I didn't expect to see a tower of this magnitude in Oklahoma City. Isn't that a typical midwestern city with space to spare?

It's a very beautiful tower and my congratulations.
