the Flax site starting to lose its shroud. don't know about this one... sort of looks like hospital wards right now

work was active on the parcel just to the north of the newish children's park at 17th and Folsom when I was by there today

which I assume is this

and 1 De Haro is now gone above its fence line

Thanks for the pictures, timbad.

More about the project (2060 Folsom) at 17th and Folsom. Looks like it'll be ready for occupancy around Q3 2020.

And some additional info and renderings here.

363 Sixth St. at Clara (half a block from Harrison St.)

This 8 story development is moving along well. Came it across on a long walk today.

Modera Rincon Hill, 390 First St.

When I walked by the site today the construction crane was being assembled. The building will be 14 stories with 180 units (for those who don't already know!). I've been walking in this area for many years. Today I was not certain where I was with all of the changes to landmarks like the gasoline station that occupied the site for many years.

Note the vertical plant wall next to the big dig. There won't be much sunlight there when the building is complete!

thanks, slock.

here is California and Powell

and the two affordable ones on Laguna: 55 Laguna...

and 455 Fell

a peek from the Van Ness end of Austin Alley (between Pine and Bush), looking toward Polk. the alley got a spruce-up as part of the Polk St make-over (which otherwise seems sort of underwhelming to me)

something (edit: after lots of iterations, I think this) going up on the south side of Bush, again looking from Van Ness toward Polk

timbad - thanks for pointing out a thread was made for this one.

I usually don't trespass on construction sites but in this instance the gate was open & no one was around so I got a much better picture by getting close to the hole in the ground.

It amazes me as to how many pictures you take of different sites! You certainly get around the city a lot.

The “heavy user of walkability” is the backbone of our local threads, so it’s gratifying to see timbad continue to get the recognition and thanks he so richly deserves!

thanks, guys. it helps a lot both

- to live in a dense city that puts its new development in the right places so that an afternoon's walk can easily pass a dozen or more construction sites, and

- to get the kind words of encouragement!
