WOW! I guess a crane doesn't take as long to assemble then I imagined. They really assembled this in like a day or so. Amazing!

Yeah, it generally only takes a day or two to erect these--often over a weekend, when streets need to be closed off, as happened here.

I personally LOVE the second tower, and how it plays off of PSFS. Super excited for this one.

I have the impression that some of the cladding gaps have been tightened recently. At least the worst ones visible on the webcam are no longer visible.

Some are getting fixed as the floors are finished. The three panels on the part that juts out are still a skew but the very top one is straighter than it used to be. I'm not sure what they are going to to do about the ones that have been chipped. There are some that still haven't been painted and yesterday I saw some sort of a bag coming out of the wall and could see it continued on the inside through the window.

Yeah I was about to mention the panels being straightened out as well. Didn't have my camera (was downtown for jury duty) but they were installing the large window units for the retail base.

Also managed to not notice the crane despite walking down 12th Street haha....

Hard to believe that would pass a building inspection. It looks downright unsafe !!

Okay. Now. The crane is erected. No steel progress yet?
Has the steel arrived?
I'm guessing that they are waiting for the steel?
Yes?
No?

PS: A Work stoppage? A strike? Please say no.

Those have been there for a week or two--maybe more--but let's hope that they suddenly become fruitful and multiply. Ever since they finished pouring that deck, and especially with the erection of the tower crane, I keep hoping to see on the webcam a big delivery of steel girders.

When panels are first put on the building they are not put in their exact place. You have one group of people that stick the panels on the building and then a second group puts them where they need to go.

As for the chips they are easy to fix. Pretty standard to have some chips during the erecting process.
