Was there not a Bread Garden there for a brief period of time before it changed to Whitespot.

yes there was some kind of bakery sandwich type place. I was going to VCC until 2012 and there was something in that spot I can remember passing a few times.

There was a Bread Garden operating there in 2010. I have a picture - not a good one, and as far as I can tell, no external sign, but they were there.

As I was driving by today, noticed Cascade (Main St.) signage being taken down. Are they done or just putting up a new sign?

The recently closed Starbucks at Oak and W.22nd is going to be a Pallet Coffee Roasters.

Yes! Yaletown's Small Victory bakery and coffee place is opening a South Granville location at the old American Apparel space at Granville and 15th!

Looks like the restaurant that was planned for the SE corner of Main and 12th (the old Sellution) fell through, as the building has For Lease signs up again. Though in a twist, Sellution is coming back to Main in the old Flower Factory space at Main and 20th. El Camino is also expanding to the adjacent storefront.
