So the vote to continue with the arena project passed Tuesday night. This allows the city to move forward with the non-binding term sheet and to finalize where the money will come from exactly.

Arena dead because of the spoiled rotten brothers wasted daddys money away. They were getting a gift from the nba but wanted parking revenue from nothing they would own.

Good riddance

There's this cool little mini river built in the median public space walkway thing. It's pretty cool.

Arena vote tonight, which passed the City Council 7-2. Demo and site prep should start very soon, if not immediately.

New Renderings Reveal Vision of Sacramento Commons Project

http://www.bizjournals.com/sacrament...o-commons.html

Quote:
The redeveloped residential high-rise project Sacramento Commons is still working its way through city approvals, though the developer, Kennedy Wilson Inc., has released some renderings of the project.

As outlined in the original proposal, the renderings show a pair of 25-story high-rise buildings flanking a civic plaza at the northwest corner of 7th and P streets, which would be the project’s southeast edge.

Renderings also show a new building on the project’s northeast corner, which proponents have said would house another 120 condominiums in a 22-story building, with the option of 320 hotel rooms there as well.
