I read in the news this morning how the fire grew by nearly 30,000 acres last night. Hope all is well with your husband.

Have you also learned that secret from the river; that there is no such thing as time? That the river is everywhere at the same time, at the source and at the mouth, at the waterfall, at the ferry, at the current, in the ocean and in the mountains.-Hermann Hesse

looks great! I'm very intrigued by Boise. It seems like a nice sized city.

Do you have any pictures of the Birds of Prey park? That sounds very interesting.
The Vandals fight song

I do have pics of the Snake River Canyon/Birds of Prey National Conservation Area south of Boise. I don't have any of the Worlds Center of Birds of Prey in south Boise, but here is their link:

Here are a few of my photos of the canyon, and links to a few threads I posted back in 2010 and 2008, shot with my old Kodak lol.

The deep canyon of the Snake River, with its crags and crevices and thermal updrafts, is home to the greatest concentration of nesting birds of prey in North America – and perhaps, the world.

I might be able to swing it because I'm heading up to some hot springs in the BNF next month with friends.
