My take on this: Upstate New York is what connects Western New York to New England, and specifically Vermont. Hence the proliferation of Sabres and Red Sox fans.

There is a psychic connection between Buffalo and Syracuse - and a shared devotion to lacrosse.

What is the point of this thread? People who live in the region know who they like and if you already have a sports media map etc then why ask?
