I hate the stupid labels. Snowmageddon is just retarded.

I also hate the way every political scandal has the suffix "-gate" appended.

e.g., whitewatergate, trousergate, etc.

Dundas and Richmond this morning: business as usual.

So much for the hype. I was expecting something massive.

The school boards canceled classes for today. I guess they crapped their pants when Environment Canada issued the first blizzard warning here since 1993.

For the first time ever a snowstorm missed us. That's hard to believe.

Shameful, another piece of crap to further ruin the Dundas/Richmond intersection. Way to go, Timothy Worst.

It was business as usual yesterday at Fanshawe, although only 6 of us showed up for my class out of 24. Many assumed the college was closed without checking with local media or the Fanshawe website.

The LTC was even on time. Except for the one driver who stopped at Tim Hortons for 10 minutes and left the doors open.

^I hate it when drivers do that sort of thing. Used to happen ALL THE TIME when I was an undergrad at Concordia U in Montreal (always on the bus). Bastards would stop for a smoke, go in for coffee, shopping, etc. Once, we waited 30 minutes for this busdriver to come out of a consumers distributing store. People were threatening to drive the bus downtown themselves.

The new report regarding city hall's future states that the city has offices in Market Tower, but it doesn't own it.

http://www.london.ca/Reference_Docum...2011report.pdf

Regarding the buses, yeah I think we all hate it when the driver pulls over the bus to get a coffee. The most I've waited is 15 mins... seemed like forever.

Last I heard was that Farhi bought the Market Tower.

When I was at Western I once had a driver that stopped in front of St. Joe's Hospital, and he went inside for almost 10 minutes. I was starting to think he was checking himself in, and I was about to call the LTC on my cell phone when he came back out.

Well well..I'm in London for a week, and boom, we get more snow today than the blizzard of 2011 from last week.

Who knew!

16 cm of snow fell on London Airport today apparently. Not bad when they were forecasting 2-4 cm

Yeah the plow better come down my street soon... It will fill up with parked cars this afternoon for Superbowl parties, making road clearing very difficult.

Yes, I'm going to be "that guy" that points out the obvious, but it was 1 year ago that we experienced one of the worst snow storms in the cities history. Makes we wonder when we are going to finally get some real snow this year.

I don't envy you guys up in London, the amount of snow you can get is just outragous. For being less than 2 hrs away, our winter weather can be completely different from you guys. The only lake effect snow we get here has to travel all the way from Lake Michigan.

Yeah, last year is the only year that we got more snow than London. It was just one of those freak years that probably won't happen again for a long time. The explanation for it was that most of the snow storms that year stayed further to the south than usual, so with Windsor being the furthest south in Canada, we got clipped by most of them, with London and Toronto being spared for the most part.

There was an inch of snow on the ground this morning, and so far it hasn't melted. Fingers crossed for another snow day, it was fun while it lasted.

Woodstock is ground zero for bad weather systems. East past woodstock, and there may be no snow at all for most of the winter. London: some years very heavy snow, other years very light.
