Well the incredibly shaky goaltending seems to remain a constant for the oilers. My goodness.

Montreal fans are the worst for this. They line up a few wins in a row in October and people start saying "ça sent la Coupe" (smells like the Cup). Some are coking, some are not.

Please go tell that Michel "DD lover" Therrien. This guy is this close to turning me off Habs games and that has NEVER happened (except last year when we were eliminated).

I repeat we DUMPED AND CHASED IN FREAKING OT!!! AT 3 on 3. This guy kills everything spectacular which why Subban was traded for a #1 D who can dump and chase better than PK (Weber). Only spectacular player on the team now is Galchenyuk and it broke Therrien's heart to put him as #1C.

Unfortunate, Talbot had a forgettable outing and the Oilers got thoroughly beaten
Could have been an entirely different result had Talbot not misplayed O'Reilly's dump in, game was tied 2-2 at that point and Oilers had a bit of momentum after scoring those 2 quick ones at the end of the 1st
Talbot owned the loss and the team will no doubt have to be better tomorrow against the Hurricanes. If the Oilers want to be challenging for a playoff spot in the spring, they'll need to get out of October over .500

Well I can't deny the Habs are pretty elite at dump and chase!

Great shutout for Al Montoya but I hope Price is finally done with the virus on Thursday.

It's pretty telling when Kirk Muller gets a lot more applause than Michel Therrien for the home opener.

^^^ yup. St Louis was the only team in the league at 3-0 till they played Vancouver. Now the Canucks are 3-0.
3rd straight come from behind ot/shootout wins!
First team in NHL history to start the season with 3 wins yet never having a lead even for a minute haha!

Ottawa's had this problem before, no? Most Canadian cities have, come to think about it.

This "problem" will be resolved once the Sens move to LeBreton Flats.

There have been issues before, but I can't remember such a small crowd for a regular season Senators game since they moved to Kanata.

Seems to me a "very small" crowd for them was 14-15k, or maybe 13,892 or something.

The first star yesterday was Montoya. Patches was the second and DD the third.

I don't hate DD the player, I hate how he is used by Therrien. Yesterday, his usage was perfect. 3rd line center with 12 min total ice time. That's the way it should always be.

Nice Jets win over the Laff's coming back from a 4-0 deficit. 2016-2017 eventual Calder Memorial trophy winner Patrik Laine with a hat trick including the tying goal and winner in OT!

After Markov to Subban... it's time for the Markov to Weber! Congrats to Shea on his first with the Habs.

It's also good to have Jesus Price back after 330 days!

Canucks are 1st in the league but do I really want the Canucks playing well? An elite centre is the key ingredient for a Stanley Cup and we haven't got one. Couple more years of high draft picks is in order.

I love how highly rated Calgary is in the toilet while the worst rated team in the league Canucks are best in the league early on.
