Dang, I wish it could go up a little higher above the expected rooftop.

But it doesn't matter, this tower is on the verge to become New York's tallest.

Although the lines match up, I'm guessing it has more to go than that photo-overlay depicts, because we are still 122 ft short of the parapet...

WOW - these pics are crazy awesome! It's pretty intense to see how close together 1 WTC is to 7 WTC. I've seen them in person myself - but it still boggles my mind seeing pics.

Great progress! How tall is it now, and how many feet left to the roof?

^^^
roughly it is at 1,240 feet, about 128 feet left to the top of the parapet then 424 feet to the very tip of the spire!

I agree completely. The Tower looks Astonishing, But, Imagine how more beautiful Tower 1 would be if it had the glass of Tower 4 on it. Then Tower would would be seen ever further with the suns reflection bouncing off the glass with the current aluminum corners it currently has. It then would have been a true becon of light even by day.

Yeah, it's been oxidizing a lot lately. The only reason it's taken longer than the roofs of 1, 2, & 3 WFC is because the copper is vertical on the roof, making it harder for water to stay on and oxidize it.

Looks like this slanted column connects the perimeter structure from the 91st floor to the core structure just below the 100th floor slab, my guess is that it's ment to add extra support against wind shear. Interesting there's only one and not 4...

So You Mean that there's only one and not four jumps?

Wouldn't it be 2?

The steel that they raise in place fits one or two floors?

Ooops... there are at least 2 of them... Found another one, which is located at the NE section of the tower. Seems like I was wrong and there will be indeed 4 columns, each located at the NE, SE, SW, NW areas respectively, each connecting one perimeter column to a corner of the core. Apologies for the guessing, but drawings are a bit outdated.

You're confused! Still 4 jumps to reach the roof.

Surely not that many. I stand by my guess at two more to the roof then one more to the parapet.
