Red face TORONTO | Fashion House | M / FT | 12 FLOORS

Address: 560 King Street West.
Developer: FREED Developments
Architect: CORE Architects

This development is topped out. What's interesting about this development (and the reason why I'm posting it here) is the red curtains and the lighting feature to illuminate those red curtains.

November 15th by Red Mars. Heritage building will be a "KEG STEAKHOUSE" restaurant (a very popular steak house in Toronto).

Curtain photos by carturo15.

November 9th by urbandreamer.

Urban Toronto reports that the red curtains are up at Fashion House:

It looks like the curtains are being illuminated with fluorescent lighting. It's a bit too glaring in my opinion. I'd have preferred the more subtle pot lighting look shown in the rendering. Regardless, it's a striking feature.

The King West Strip is Impressive!!

Amazing collection of tiny mid-rise buildings. They looks so compact.
