Google lets people email in suggestions for additions to the 3D collection and asks for the following...

Quote:
When suggesting a model, make sure to include a link to its details page. To get the link, choose 'Link to this page' at the bottom of the details page.
anyone know what/where the 'link to this page' is and the 'details page'?

^^^^Sweet!

No, I don't contribute to the warehouse, as all I have are things that I don't want people ripping off.

yeah fox , it sucks to do all the work for what seems to be nothing , but i think there are rewards like promoting your home city with the models

its funny , i didnt download those ones , the ones i did download were way less detailed , i dont know how these ones showed up and thats why i dont know who to credit

I've slowly been taking the Chicago models from the 3d warehouse and assembling them into a Chicago city model in 3ds.

At first I tried doing that in sketchup, but the program crashes on me when I get more than 8 buildings in the scene (probably due to the textures). You can work with thousands of them at once in 3ds though.

Yeah, I could just import them into google earth, but they reduce the quality of the textures.
