^ You'd think it was Fordham Spire, not a PoMo 1990esque LaGrange building.

^Yeah. . . but at least they're confining it to the land of PoMo buildings. . . should compliment Park Tower well enough. . .

^ Trust me, that's nothing compared to what you'll get if the Fordham Spire starts construction

I was recently sharing with some of the California forumers that there's so many projects going up in this city, that it's difficult to keep up or keep track of them all. (Or at least for us newcomers)

This is a pretty sophisticated design.

Great to hear it's getting underway.

Thanks Shawn. Words cannot possibly express how much i'm loving Chicago.

This city is absolutely wonderful. The transportation, performings arts, the waterfront, the diversity, to say nothing of all the lofty additions under construction.

one of the best things about this is location. it's adding bulk to that area of the skyline where it needs to be thicker

are there any non-elevation renderings of this project, placing it within the skyline?

Check STR's 3d skyline model thread, it's in the Skybar subforum

^ This I do agree with. The added bulk over there will be welcome.

and yes, STR's model is the best way to see it. It appears green and just west of 900 N. Michigan
(the Bloomingdale's building, as it is sometimes called)

** See post #59, which is on page 3 of this very thread
