Are we counting Sandhill Cranes? There's a couple at the Greater Vancouver Zoo.

^What are sandhill cranes like? EDIT: I see...

Updates:
-1 more Patina crane added
-Pulse added
-39th & Vine added
-Centerpoint removed

And I'm still not exactly sure what to do with the light crane thing. I know some of the ones in the main list are those Potain/light cranes so I'll have to do something about that.

I think I'll keep/move the Potain cranes used in lieu of fixed tower cranes in/to the main list but put an asterisk beside them and then other light cranes can go in a separate list. I don't feel like doing it right now though.

I don't know the name of the project but there is a proper tower crane on Cordova in the DTES around Main. I'm assuming it is social housing.

Vista place in NV has 2, I just drove by there yesterday. Ill take a better count of the area soon, as I think there might be some more. Nothing in West Van currently, but a ton of light cranes for single family houses, they are not the anchored variety though so they definetely shouldn't count.

SFUVan,

If you're talking about the crane behind the no. 5 Orange at Cordova and Main that is a project called SMART by Concord Pacific, it's market housing. Sold out in the opening weekend.

So that's where Smart is located. Thank you. I never could place it in my head.

^It did now.

Along with these updates:

-Brentwood Gate decreased to 2 cranes
-Carlyle (Victoria Hill) crane added
-Smart crane added
-Vista Place increased to 2 cranes (I'm assuming that was was down in the list as "Vista" is the same as "Vista Place")

Thanks for all your input everybody!

crane at the aquarium? if it was the one for the education centre, that's been taken down for a while. as the design for the next phase hasn't started, i doubt there would be a crane for that.

the crane at vcc should have been taken down by now.

there's a crane at crofton house on west 41st at blenheim.

There's a crane on Hwy 10 just west of 152nd in Surrey. It's a tower crane but being used to build an office park.

Dont know if anyone still cares but driving down the #1 yesterday I saw a new crane being assembled behind the 8rinks in Burnaby. Dont know what it is for but I saw some site work being done there about a month ago and it looks like they are building some sort of high square footage low rise.
