$/sq-ft. Those towers are also massive as well. 50 Hudson, the Spiral. Height doesn't always equal higher cost, but how much sq-footage is being developed along with the materials and specifications needed.

If it were to be the size of 432 Park, with the same floor area or size, assuming no architectural elements that shrinks the space, but a type of design that further maximizes sq-footage, it'll be way more expensive along with associated costs to build higher (PSI, engineering requirements, and so on).

What does it have to do with it? The two towers cannot be compared. You must think of a tower similar to 432 Park.

432 Park
412,637 square feet
1,396 ft
US$1.25 billion

360 10th Avenue
840,000 square feet
over 1,300 ft
US$ 3 billion

Was this explicitly stated? Where did you hear that?

I hope it's at least 1,150+ if that's the case

The guy that runs yimby checked the design out. I'll take his word on it lol.

But obviously for confidential reasons, one can't burp out details.

Probably YIMBY has seen one of the proposals made for the project but it is not necessarily the deffinitive one.

Considering that this probably won’t be built for 5-7 years, I doubt that any tentative design is final.

50 HY is 3 million square feet, so about three times the size of 360 10th. And it's an office tower, which has much higher construction costs.

If it costs $4 billion, it will be much taller than 1,000 ft. But we have no clue (yet). I'm hoping we get a dominant spire for HY.
