It took me a while to figure out where that was! That is an angle you don't normally see of the Gateway area.

Yes it is quite different from previous decades. The towers on the left side of the guideway, the lights around the new recreation area, and the new low-rise apartment buildings on the western edge of KGB alter the internal image of the old area.

I was at a friends place on the Sumas mountainside in Abbotsford and snapped this photo. Incredible visibility that day. Photo is of downtown Surrey skyline and New Westminster skyline from east Abbotsford. I didn't even think it would have ever been possible to see that far in the valley.

Capilano Lake and Cleveland Dam in North Vancouver this morning. And here is a video of water racing down the dam.

Thanks! Nice to see some Surrey photos. The city is way too unknown to myself as well. Need to find some time to do some walking in there this summer...

Hi everyone, happy Canada Day!

I'm a new member in this forum and this is my first post. I love the this beautiful region we call the Lower Mainland, I live in New West, and one of my favorite hobbies is to make videos.

Here I thought I would share a few videos I've made around metro Vancouver, I hope you like them! I look forward to contributing with pictures also.

Some random photos from my first visit to Langley today. I was quite surprised how rundown the city center area really was and how car-centric Langley is. I mean, I knew it is a car city, but it was still surprising...
