Jets over Flyers 9 to 8.

Seventeen goals!

The most rediculous hockey game I have ever seen in my life!

I read on hfboards this might have been the highest scoring game since the early 90s

Edit: Since 1996

Would love to see Nickoli come back, what being in the top five in every category for goaltending in the league right now.

It's being said this is the most goals scored in a game post lockout.

Sweet justice was the look on Bryzgalovs face after Ladds game winner. In your face Ilya.

And then he goes crying to the media about how much he sucks. Waaaahhhhh!!!!! He must have realized he lost to a city with no parks

Go cry in a corner and pound it you over-rated and over-paid jerk-off; sweet revenge for Winnipeg

My post on the HF boards

nine years and $51 million

never wanting to play in Winnipeg

4 goals allowed on 10 shots

priceless

Another big crowd in Gongdale tonight (7,434) so about 3000 or so actually at the game. Only 37 more home games until relocation to Quebec City.

They have a Bryzgalov, but we have a Byfuglien.

I guess that month in prison made him want to be a better goalie.

That was too good.

Seriously, that was one of the best hockey games I've ever seen.

I was wondering where Bryz was when we were up 4 goals.

Pavelec stood on his head on more than one occasion as well.

I would say that the Jets played far better against Tampa Bay compared to how they played against Philly.

At least we are improving. Whether its players finally buying into the system, or players having time to get acquainted with the system, or the coaching staff fine tuning the system to meet the needs/demands of various players, it does not really matter. It's just good to see growth. I really like Evander Kane. He has great energy, plays at both ends, and is not afraid to get physical. I just do not see him as the future 40-goal machine that some do. He's not a sniper. He's good at crashing the crease and stuffing goals home from 5 feet away. It's not a bad thing, but I for Kane to be effective, things cannot be pretty. We have to put pucks on net for him to clean up, as opposed to trying to get cute with it. Hopefully Burmi and Antro find Kane more along the crease, because he has looked good on their line.

...Fail for Nail... I hate the idea of losing... but I love the idea of Yakupov. I'm so conflicted.

It's strange that 3 games into this trip, the best game we've played is the only one we have yet to walk out with a win.

Hope we can pick up 4 points in the Empire State.
