there's no such thing as a one-size-fits-all "secret to happiness".
different people are bound to like and prefer different things.
as for me, my most favorite aspect of city living (and it wasn't even brought up in the clip) is being able to conveniently walk to numerous destinations.
the older i get, the more i realize how fundamental that is to my overall sense of well-being and satisfaction with where i live.
now, you don't necessarily need to live in a big city to have walkability, but the lion's share of truly functional walkable urbanism in this country is found in the big old school cities.
human communities designed for human beings are my jam.
