MR. C COCONUT GROVE GETS FAA APPROVAL FOR 315-FOOT TWIN TOWERS, UTILITIES DEAL SIGNED

The developers of Mr.C Coconut Grove are making progress in approvals and permitting for the proposed 20-story towers.
On February 15, the Federal Aviation Administration issued approval for the twin towers project to be built at a maximum height of 315 feet above ground, or 328 feet above sea level.
In January, the developer signed a utilities deal with Miami-Dade to connect the project to the county’s water and sewer system. The project will include 301 residential units, 15,746 square feet of retail, and 6,024 square feet of restaurant, according to the agreement.
The project is in the process of obtaining a construction permit, with John Moriarty the contractor.
Although approval of the construction permit has not been granted yet, developers were able to obtain an expedited life and safety review from the city in December due to a tight construction schedule.
Terra is the developer, with Arquitectonica the architect.
