Beautiful photos!

Too bad Budapest decided to drop its bid as candidate city to host the 2024 Summer Olympics. :/

That's wonderful news. The Olympics would be a nightmare for Budapest. It's a relatively small city and country, and relatively poor. A rich city could probably take the financial body blow from the Olympics, but I think it would be awful for Budapest (see nightmare situations in Athens and Rio).

Great pics, though. Always loved Budapest, and think it's the best Eastern European city.

Love Budapest. We went there on vacation in October 2016 and enjoyed thoroughly.

Re the Olympics; I wouldn't wish them on anyone but the worst rogue state.
