What a shame that this building will be only 11 stories. To go to all that foundation work for 11 stories in a major city like Philadelphia? Unbelievable. This had the potential to be an exclamation point as the western end to the skyline.

There seems to be a pretty good incline at about 38th + Market Street. Even a 20 story tower would have had a nice presence given the added elevation.

Is it me or did they change the skin design for the building (as compared to the drawings)?

I don't think you've met a building you didn't think was too short, have you?...

You just don't get it Hammer: the world revolves around whether a building makes a skyline impact. Period. All other considerations - economics, feasibility, etc., are trivial in comparison. No matter how many times you ban him, he will make sure the truth is heard.

You are a moderator. Why are you instigating trouble? Why? You are behaving in a manner that is completely opposite of what a moderator stands for.

Dude, you need to learn how to take a joke. Sharply sarcastic humor is nothing new on this forum. Neither, by the way, is satire.

Tower crane was tied to building under 9th floor and two mast sections installed over the weekend to accommodate two additional floors.

Looks like up to 12 floors now. Is this going to 13 total? This is 190 feet tall at 11 floors. So 12 floors would put it around 204 feet and 13 floors would make it 221 feet.

I've been surprised by how visible this is in parts of University City. It's been nice to see it rise.
