I finally made it up to the South Austin Hospital parking garage. I must say, it really has one of the best views in the city.
1.
2. Palisades West again. You can see this building from all over Austin because of its elevation. You can also see the bleachers at Austin High School just down the hill.
3. West Austin tv & radio towers. The tallest one is around 1,300 feet tall.
4.
5. Old water tower in my neighborhood.
6. Austin Community College's 10-story Pinnacle Campus in Southwest Austin.
7. Oak Grove. This used to be a Ramada Inn hotel, now it's low income housing. And it has a view of downtown on the sundeck on the roof.
8. Freescale Semiconductor's plant in Southwest Austin.
9. Looking southeast toward my grocery store (tan building).
10. Looking north. Those buildings are about 12 miles away in North Austin.
11. The water tank to the right is north of Austin inside of Williamson County almost 17 miles away.
12. West end of downtown.
13. Spring, 21Rio (in back) and The Monarch.
14. Legacy on the Lake.
15. 300 West Sixth, W & One American Center.
16. Dobie Center (blue bldg), UT Tower rising behind it. 360 Condos.
17. A couple of highrises at The Arboretum shopping mall. It's an upscale outdoor mall. One of the city's largest hotels, the 478 room Renaissance Hotel is there (10 floors), along with a couple of office buildings. Dell Computer's first offices were in one of the buildings.
