Those are some cute lakes. Do you have any "streams" that look like this:

We have passenger trains too:

Of course. Here's Rock Creek, a mile from my apartment. The waterway looks quite similar. Of course, it doesn't have a canyon. But if you're defining your waterways based on the rock formations of nearby land, then perhaps we've identified why westerners don't know what a "river" is. Protip: Rivers are made of water.

Easterners do have canyons, though of course they're much smaller. And sometimes we just up and decide to build new ones using dynamite.

#1 is a lake and #2 is a river. They look the same to you because your eye is untrained, because there isn't that much water in your entire state.

But it's all good, because easterners think this 1,282-foot speed bump qualifies as a "mountain," and have no idea what the term "foothill" means.

After copious amounts of mountain allergy therapy, we have concluded that it was not I that had the mountain allergy, it was the vehicle. As much as I love my steed, I am retiring it and getting a new car. Not my dream car, the Bagger 288, but it'll do.

Pffft. Westerners know that real canyons can only be made by real rivers- the kind that trickle like cat's piss year after year except for that 10th year when the flow is like Odin's first piss after a night of drinking.

More like this, now that you have no excuse for not visiting the mountains and I still don't have any pictures of VelociRFTA:

My lord, I haven't received the vehicle yet, but will have it in my possession by next month. Your VelociRFTA pictures will be coming soon!

Darth Vader married Natalie Portman. If that's wrong, I don't want to be right.
