I got an amazing deal on Southwest Airlines for a Memorial Day weekend trip from Atlanta to Las Vegas. Round trip airfare, 3 nights at The Luxor and a ticket to a Cirque show for only $475. Although it was a great time, I"m not too anxious for a return trip.
I've never seen such excess in absolutely everything! The hotels/casinos were breathtaking in a "let's see what we can build to be bigger/grander than our neighbor" kind of way. I'll start at the south end of the strip and head north.
Mandalay Bay
Hotel Intercontinential
The Luxor
The Luxor was kind or worn looking and was too far south for me to want to stay there again. It is though probably the best hotels in it's price range.
The Tropicana
This included 2 stark white towers...very striking.
The Excaliber
New York, New York
Amazing exterior and the casino area has several 'NYC-looking streets' with shops and restaurants. I would have loved to see how the hallways and rooms are arranged. I regret not riding the roller-coaster.
MGM Grand
Planet Hollywood
Harrah's
Bally's
City Center
The new complex includes Aria (by far my favorite hotel), Vdara, The Cosmopolitan, the Mandarin Oriental and some condo towers. I could have spent almost the entire weekend in this block...every building had stunning architecture and interiors.
Aria
I can't say enough about how stunning this hotel was inside and out. The casino, lounges and restaurants were amazing designs with beautiful colors and materials.
Th9is was entirely made of chocolate.
Aria seen through a reflection of the glass-walled pedestrian bridge
Vdara
TheCosmopolitan
Packed full with a very slick, young crowd. The interior was stunning with great lounges and restaurants.
The 2-story lounge called Chandelier
Monte Carlo
The Flamingo
The Bellagio
Paris
Amazing place with great views from the 'Eiffel Tower'.
The view from the Eiffel tower
Caesars Palace and The Forum Shops
The Mirage
I'm not sure what casino this was in but several had these huge sports betting areas
The Venetian
One of the theme hotels complete with interior canals (and gondolas) and St. Mark's Square.
The sky changes from day to night.
The Pallazo
Wynn and Encore

I know what you mean, I can only take Vegas for two days and I'm ready to go home. But again that's what many people from L.A. do, go for the weekend. I have relatives in Vegas and been saying I going to visit soon. I'm also dying to see the City Center in person, thanks for sharing these beautiful photos.
BTW my younger sister go married at the Paris Hotel, I love that place. A friend go married over the Mandalay Bay Hotel, it was nice but the honeymoon suite is much nicer at Paris.
Nice pictures. I like that you covered the interiors fairly well on top of shoeing the outside. Did you happen to go into any of the older hotel casinos? They are usually pretty grungy, but it's a chance to see "Old Vegas".

The only one I went though was The Imperial. Everything about it was pretty rundown but they recently started a renovation. I went in there to eat at Hash House a Go Go. If you're the type that needs a huge breakfast, this is the place for you! Good food but expect a wait unless you can find a spot at the counter. http://www.hashhouseagogo.com/
