Photo from Curbed

It turns out that red sections in the tower are painted and not brick as it initially appeared. I don't this one works as well as Square on Fifth.

As much as I still think this is a great project for the area, this is a really ugly facade for what could have been one of the best of this cycle.

Yikes. That is terrible. It just looks cheap. Dissapointing. Might as well just go with an all glass exterior then.

One good part about this tower is that most of the parking deck is behind apartments.

For me, this is one of the most exciting parts of new construction. When we get new buildings contributing to the urban fabric of the city, especially when its replacing surface parking. And I think this latest round of projects has, for the most part, been much better in that regard.

Not the biggest fan of the color and material used for the vertical siding on the highrise portion, but I like the midrise portion a lot. I think the street interaction is nice for the most part....just wish it had some sort of retail.

Overall I think this is a great addition to Midtown. In the grand scheme of things, not many people will ever notice the facade of the high rise.
