West Peachtree's canyon effect has transformed into something special over the past 5 years.

That's a nice shot!

I was going north along Williams Street in Midtown and Ascent is becoming prominent at its location. While this part of Midtown is less frequented than others, you can really tell it's growing into its own node. What I really enjoy about this block is how many different buildings and facades are in that small stretch. Gives it more of an older city feel.

Based on the markings on the building, the apartment tower is now on floor 25.

Looks like this one has a few more stories to install, which is great! It is already having a decent impact on the skyline all over town.

I agree. From the west it appears taller than Amli.

I believe this is topped out. Based on the markings from West Peachtree, the 26th floor is complete and it appears that they are now building the amenity deck.

Here's a quick photo.

Looks taller than I'd imagined it would be. Hopefully that huge blank wall on the back of the hotel looks better when it's all finished.

Only a mural by a renowned artist can help that wall.

That would be nice. Reviewing the renderings, they did a great job hiding that POS.

This tower is much taller than advertised. Obviously they were only reporting the residential floors.

It’s a great addition either way, sans he wear facade of the hotel being entirely blank.

As much as I love these building in this location, I can't help but think of the number of accidents that will probably happen on either side of the complex as cars enter and exit the complex.
It just seems to be in a clusterf*ck area where speeding cars and 4/5 lane streets converge for one bad pedestrian experience.
