Come on, you are almost there. Say what is really at the back of your mind.

No one brings up so many non issues without some deep seeded reason for disliking a person. I get that you would never in your life vote for Obama no matter who he was running against.

I could argue all these points but unfortunately, I am losing respect for all of this. Please sit back and try to calm down. The poor aren't enemies. Obama isn't a black supremist. In fact the argument that Obama would exacerbate divides only says to me that some of these things will finally be realistically exposed and addressed. Even this conversation we are having right now is exposing some kind of deep seeded anger at the very notion of Obama that cannot be healthy.

I am surprised at your global warming argument considering the left and right are in agreement over it. I wonder who exactly you think is gaining by somehow lying about it? What makes you so sure? Amazing that you can think you absolutely know something without being a scientist and without having done any real research of your own. Is it because you think the notion of humans changing the environment is strange to you? Impossible to you? What makes you so right and the data so wrong?

Anyway don't worry about Obama. You said it yourself. He can't win anyway. He doesn't have what it takes. Black people vote democrat anyway. There is no way he can survive against the republicans ect ect ect

Oh I know. I just wanted to distinguish myself from that especially in a conversation with someone who thinks a black president is a negative thing.

He did too sell him out. His pastor was trying to defend himself and explain his beliefs. The media was basically calling him a terrorist. He had every right to defend himself the way he did. Obama should have distanced himself, but not condemned the man. Also, what attacks did he do on Obama?

Andrea, the last time I looked your name was not on the ballot. And if I had to guess, I would say you were in your late forties or fifties, NOT 71!!! Also Andrea, John McCain is not cool guy - he is an asshole! Less you forgot his famous temper. Just what we need in the Whithouse right now, an old, crotchety, senile grandpa with a temper.

I am the king of typos, but I don't appreciate the archityping of Obama as some kind of socialist or elitist which is what your post implies. Nothing in Obama's background shows a hint of either. Again, the burden of proof is on Obama and his supporters while others can simply slap labels on him. It is sad that I can post a huge litany of Obama's urban policy just to have it all dismissed as fluff without explanation or that one can call him a socialist without any discussion as to the reasoning.

You are right that the burden is on Obama to prove his skeptics wrong. This come with the job. I personally don't agree with some his socialistic ideals, but as you know how old saying goes "Actions speak louder than words." So, I can't wait to see what Obama going to do if he's going becomes the next president. Until then, I'll take all the words from politicians with a grain of salt, especially Obama.

To be honest, as a minority, I would love to see another minority in these kind of positions and be successful. However, Obama really scares me. He is way too suave. I mean, sometimes I wish I could be somewhat like him, but not as a politician.

Do you mean well spoken? Seriously, do you want Georginia Bush Part Deux - McCain.

Let's break your argument down DH8588. What do you believe are Obama's socialist views? I want specifics too DH8588!

Fiorenza - this next election is about the survival of our country, not race. In every way, our country's competitiveness in the global economy has significantly weakened . Domestically, we have lost our way. Greed is destroying the fabric that made us the envy of the world. Fiorenza, it is time for a changing of the guard. There has to be a better way. I think you would agree that we are not where we need to be. McCain, is more of the same. Obama, although not perfect, stands to change the way our government is going. Personally, I wanted Hillary. I think this country needed a ball buster and Hillary has the biggest set among her peers. I will support Obama, but I hope the hell he picks the right VP.
