Cool photo above of the fog.

I had spoken about this previously when talking about the campanile expansion, but the white building in the second picture above with the Christmas tree used to be the same height as its neighboring twin. In the late 80's they added several floors to make it taller.

Midtown's skyline alone is on par with many of the whole skylines of Southern cities.

On par or superior to all other southern cities I’d say, except for Miami. The only thing holding midtown back is lack of infill as well as space being limited due to the highway and historic midtown. I wish Midtown was about twice as wide east to west so it could really support transit and retail with a greater force. Really hoping for wiser new developments that are truly engaging and maximize land value moving forward. There isn’t a block that should be wasted.

This is the real solution. With the talk of the 10th street bridge enhancements, thought needs to be put into building the bridge wider to the south to connect to the park on 5th street. Then you can widen the park and connect to 14th/ North Ave.
