Well it looks like you must have been laying flat on your back in the middle of Peachtree Street, young lady. Very nice photo!

Greyhound station

I took this in 2005 when they were tearing down the old Greyhound station. Who knew the dog icon was behind that facade for all those years?

Here's what it looked like back in the day

I took this a few days ago from the roof of The Ponce...

I'm not sure I'd ever leave the house if this was my view.

Nice photo! That's a great urban vista. Is this from the top of the Ponce apartments, south of the Georgian Terrace?

Nice shot! I envy the resident of that apartment.

Now, if only those holes between the skyscrapers were filled...

Beautiful shot! Atlanta has to be one of the best 'lit' cities in the world.

Awesome Night shot. I shot this one from a similar vantage point but in daylight, a couple days ago.

You mean the "holes" that are already filled with lowrise buildings?

You know that there are still plenty of surface parking lots in Midtown, many even on Peachtree.

They are just not shown in the photo. I too was kinda confused about the "holes" comment.

It took me a moment to realize that it was pollen. There was no smog that morning around town.

So true. Yesterday, we went for a nice walk on Peachtree from our condo north of Pershing Point down to the 7th St Starbucks while our son napped in his stroller. It's an absolutely beautiful urban walk for about 90% of the way, with the exception being the (increasingly out of place) surface parking lots that are holding on in the area. Such a shame to see these still on Peachtree.
