I have no idea. Its not really unusual though. With all of the projects in the city, I'm sure there are other construction cams that we don't know about.

Looks to be at about 25 stories.

And the Whole Foods has definitely started. There was a lot of activity on that side of the block this morning.

Is that the crane for the MOB just south of Apogee?

This is definitely going to be the densest intersection in Midtown, as of yet. Possibly in the whole city.

Yes hopefully 1105 West Peachtree starts soon. It's going to be one of most impressive urban canyons in the city only created in 5 years time.

I wish all these developments were one block west, so the parking garages would abut the highway. Other than that, glad to see more development going in the area. MOB has a retaining wall up and site work continues both for MOB and Whole Foods.

So much change in those few blocks. The 1105 WP site looks quite large. I hope they can make it happen.

They are digging for the underground parking at the Whole Foods. This seems a little odd right next to a massive above ground deck in phase 1.

While I am all for the grocery to the area, the massive surface area being covered by a low-rise box is frustrating. I even find the Publix development along Peachtree Place to be disappointing, despite having two towers on the block. Having the grocery is great, but the under-utilization of the amount of space on the land is mind boggling.

That tower must be pretty near the limit for that lot. It doesn't seem under-utilized at all. I'd bet they're using at least 90% of their FAR.

For Atlanta, sure. Has there been a review lately of what we allow in Midtown, Downtown, and Buckhead?

Compared to what other cities allow (or rather have already), it at least *feels* underwhelming to me.

Remember that Midtown isn't planned as the core of the city. Downtown allows a lot more density, but that limits surrounding areas. I assume we're many years away from any significant increases. Infrastructure has to come first, and more underdeveloped land needs to fill up before we'll have enough tax and utility revenue to cover it.

Great find. Now that parking lot and I wish that power grid jungle could go away. If I am not mistaking wasn't this lot closed off a few years ago for development???

Sweet! It's nice to have a couple more webcams.

Which site do you mean? I don't recall any development planned west of Spring Street in this area.

I don't know, guess I was dreaming, but a prime spot though.

I know this building was proposed for the area before the recession, but it might've been on the same site as Apogee.
