Nice. Is that 48 actual floors, or do they skip some in their numbering due to superstitions?

This question has been addressed again and again here. You yourself asked it recently in post #987 in this very thread--and it was answered in the next post.

You're not supposed to ask, but I really don't know if the core stopped growing up after the floor #42, or if the following floors were numbered in a weird way (using letters ?).

Is that building going to be cost-efficient? Looks like the core, at least on the lower third, takes up most of the floor space.

Silly shots...... Kohn Pedersen Fox (out of NY) did a master job on this one... don't really like the surrounding buildings crowding it though. The ICC and the IFC reminds me of The Pillars of Hercules which was the ancient name given to the promontories that flank the entrance to the Strait of Gibraltar.>>>

Hong Kong is definitely on my list of places to go especially after this building is done.

Those are some great renderings. We can only hope that the building will be as good as or better than them after its done (in like 20 years).

My first post, but I am a long time reader....That is a nice shot, but why do I think that IFC and US7 are looking like they are ready to throw down?
