Reminds me a bit of the huge apartments or condos runners see when entering Manhattan off to the left over the Queensboro bridge during the NYC marathon.

Streetlights Residential opens The Ivy leasing office near River Oaks District

StreetLights Residential and Stonelake Capital Partners are under construction on The Ivy, a 17-story, 297-unit apartment project at 2311 Mid Lane, near Westheimer Road between the River Oaks District and Highland Village.

The Ivy features studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom units featuring a mud room area, desk, oversized kitchen island with dining tables in some select units, plenty of cabinet space, gas stoves, French-door Whirlpool refrigerators, solar and blackout shades, balconies with built-in grills and fireplaces in select units, wireless Sonos surround sound system, cove lighting, frameless glass showers with rain showerheads and granite countertops.

Rents range from $1,738 per month for a 550-square-foot studio to more than $10,000 per month for a penthouse unit spanning up to 3,070 square feet. Six units, including one of six penthouse units, have been leased since preleasing began in late February. The first residents are expected to move into The Ivy in late May.
