There is also new chatter that so far 2-3 more tenants are pulling out of Place Bathurst Mall, due to increasing rents.

More Central New Brunswick (or maybe Fredericton Region) but Popeyes in Woodstock will be opening on December 13th; 10am to 11pm 7 days a week will be their hours.

Looks like Bentley at Place Bathurst Mall will soon be closing permanently. They are a long time tenant.

Hart has opened its fashion liquidation store inside Bathurst Mall. It looks and feels very temporary.

Bentley is now Perminatly closed. Sources in the mall say the closures are not done yet. Stores are running down their leases. I am wondering if the new owners are not entertaining renewals to allow for a conversion to a open air plaza?

A piece of land was sold right next to the brick in Bathurst on at the end or March, hopefully something comes afoot of that purchase!

Speaking to a councilor, it appears apartments may finally be coming to the city. A proposal for a 4-5 story building is in the works for around collage street.

Lots of land and lots or recent land transactions in that area, it would be quite visible too from the college hill. They need new appartements in that are as they will merge both college locations atop college hill. There is not plans so far as to what will happen with the Youghall location
