I like how the people of Winnepeg get together and celebrate their exceptionally cold winters. If I lived there, I'd probably be inside and morose for five months a year.

theres other places besides the forks to go snow boarding along the floodway theres a place built for skying and snow boarding never been to it though.

tabogining can be done just about anywhere in the city along the river and such

we have somthing over the other cities in many ways but every city in canada has its own uniquenes to them witch it whats great about canada

winterpeg can have trouble in paradise too...
saw this driving home late last nite on Spence...
hope this tiny car comes with winter tires...

Winnipeg winters are awsome. Here in Calgary it's -20 one day, then +2 the next. Makes it hard to go skating at the local rink. I'm envious of the Winnipeg winters, those pics are great, thanks for giving me a look at winter is supposed to be.

Excellent series. You get better and better with each one. I always look forward to your series.

Bythe way, wasn't the forks just awarded a very prestigeous award that goes to places like Disneyland? I have been there a number of times and it just keeps getting better and better. I think the idea of the snowboarding site at the forks is a great one.

It's +4C in Calgary today. I think I may wash my car outside.

Yes, it was awarded The Phoenix Award, other winners have been Walt Disney World, Easter Island in Chile and The Municipal Art Society of New York City.

we never even get snow that stays on the ground for more than a day here lol!
